Two weeks ago we started decorating our home for our favourite holiday. I LOVE decorating the house for Christmas. I can’t wait for Maxton to be as excited about the holiday season as his Mommy and Daddy are.
One of my favourite things thus far is our dining room table.
It feels so inviting and ready for a group of people to eat, and be merry around. No, I am absolutely not hosting Christmas dinner at my house, but I am sure there will be a few dinners around it with family and friends before the season is over. (Tip: Don’t feel you need to have a formal sit-down dinner for holiday parties. You can have a cocktail party and set the dining room chairs up throughout your home, and have the guests help themselves to a buffet-style dinner set up on your dining table. This way you can show off your beautiful centerpieces without cramming everyone uncomfortably around the table).
This past Sunday we put up the best decoration of all: the Christmas tree!!!
Maxton LOVES to try to pull off the bulbs. We didn’t hang very many at the bottom, and hung all the glass ornaments towards the top, out of his reach.
Only 26 more days until Christmas!!!
